Why I chose my blog name-

I have a very young friend named Kyle who told me about HIS world- a place of positivity, love, peace and happiness. He is an inspiration to me as he always sees the best in everything life throws your way. I am going to face this challenge like Kyle would-with positive thoughts and lots of laughter! Please join me in my world, on my journey to conquer this disease. As my "sisters" and I used to sing at the top of our lungs- I Will Survive!!!

A Prayer

May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

  1. Fran, thank you so much or posting this prayer. I was feeling sorry for myself today because I don't have the money to do what I'd really like to do - build a shelter for dogs that have been abandoned by owners who have to go to the hospital or nursing home or simply can't take care of their animals anymore - it's called "Su Casa." The dogs would be taken to the owners by volunteers 3 times a week for an hour and kept at no cost to the owner so they would never have to lose their dog. I have a project on the burner that may be able to raise the money for it, and I'm just praying to God that it takes off - not so that I can go to Tahiti and New Zealand and all the other places I want to go to, but so I can build and fund Su Casa and employ my neices and nephews who need a job and pay them a decent salary. Anyway, your prayer really lifted my spirits, sweet sis, and I thank you for it. You are always in my prayers and in Steve's too. We talk about you and your sense of humor and your wonderful laugh and - just everything all the time. I'm so happy that you married Craig, I can't even tell you. He will stick with you no matter what - he's the most loyal person I know when it comes to family - that's so obvious by the way he treated Mom and treats Dad - I know these things are a source of comfort to you. Please know that you are definitely NOT alone - not just because people are thinking about you, but because God is with you all the time. You are everything, and everything is you. I love you so much Franny - there just aren's words enough for me to tell you. Cindy
